The second (2nd) grand reunion of Laplana Clan was successfully held for two days in Malitbog, Soouthern Leyte last May 7 and 8, 2011.

The torch parade and evening program was originally scheduled on May 7 and the beach party should be held on the next day. But due to the Manny Pacquiao versus Sugar Shane Mosley boxing fight, the schedule of activities was changed. So what really happened was that on the first day of the reunion, at 8:00 AM a Mass was held at the Sto. Nino Cathedral in Malitbog proper and it was followed by the motorcade starting from the town plaza to San Juan then back to Malitbog and then proceeded to the Holiday Beach Resort, formerly Ingko Mino Beach Resort in Barangay Juangon.

On the next day, Sunday, the activities was started with a torch parade and then followed by the programs at the Municipal Gym.

Last Sunday, August 31, 2008, My wife (who celebrated her 24th birthday anniversary) and I went on board with the M/V Filipinas Iloilo bound to Cebu City. The trip was financed by my Aunt and I would be processing the Insurance of our aunt’s Toyota Innova G car.

I was there in Cebu City for several times already, but that was my first time to be there along with my pregnant wife (3 weeks pregnant).

Junith and I (SELaplana) received the blessings of God as new married couple (husband and wife) on the 20th day of June 2008 (our wedding) through the presiding Minister, Brother E. Silawan at the Iglesia ni Cristo Hinunangan Locale, Hinunangan, Southern Leyte.
